  • Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos: on screen almost throughout, in the raid, the apartment, the robberies, the chase and the party.
  • Raul Bautista: GTABoss places him in the back seat of the getaway car and in the van.
  • Brian Heder: GTABoss says Brian and a woman named Lori meet Jason at the Effluvia bar, where Brian offers work. He also appears on the fishing boat near the end.
  • Unnamed: the man in gold chains, the drug-lab cooks, the man in the floral shirt, the woman in a gold necklace at the airport, the party host and the gunmen in white suits.

Vehicles

A red sedan and a red convertible, a dark sedan, a police pickup and police cars, a van, motorbikes, a stock car and a drift car, an airboat, jet skis, a kayak, a fishing boat, a private jet and a seaplane. None has an official name yet. The “Slim Jim” prompt at 6:04 is the on-screen button for breaking into a car.

Weapons

  • Shotgun: a pickup label shows at 4:27 as Jason picks up a pump-action shotgun. No weapon has a confirmed name.
  • Others: pistols, rifles, an automatic rifle fired from a car, a shotgun and a slow-motion takedown. Engadget notes Jason swaps between a pistol, a shotgun and an automatic rifle. Game Informer, via GTABoss, reads a Molotov cocktail in the car fire.

Places

  • Vice City: the city is the backdrop for the apartment, the drive, the robberies and the party.
  • Effluvia: the rooftop bar, named on its own sign.
  • Leonida Keys: the swamp, sea cave and beach scenes fit the wider state, but the video names no regions.
  • Unnamed: the apartment block, the toll plaza, the airport, the purple-lit skyscraper and the resort pool. A “Megamundo” sign shows near the purple-lit skyscraper, but we don’t link it to a place.

Gameplay and HUD

  • Wanted stars: six star slots show in the chase, with four lit. Engadget reads it as a return to the classic maximum, but Rockstar hasn’t explained the sixth.
  • HUD: health at top left, weapon and ammo at top right, and a minimap that draws buildings in 3D.
  • Prompts: “Slim Jim”, “Knock” at a door, “Hold hands” on the rooftop.
  • Phone and texts: an incoming-call screen and a text thread from Lucia.
  • Counters: lap counters on the track races, a progress counter on the street race, a target counter at the shooting range.
  • Slow motion: Engadget says Jason can use bullet time to line up shots. Game Informer, via GTABoss, thinks the body reticle at 25:25 may be cinematic only.
  • Activities shown: weightlifting, kayaking, racing, the shooting range, parachuting, wrestling, fishing and nightlife. Rockstar hasn’t said how any of them work.

What’s new vs earlier videos

  • Real gameplay with the HUD. Trailers 1 and 2 were cinematic. This is the first video to show prompts, the minimap, wanted stars and counters.
  • A named bar, Effluvia, on its own sign.
  • Whole missions in sequence: a raid, a robbery run, a chase and a party heist, instead of short cuts.
  • Daily life: the apartment, the TV, the gym and the beach.
  • Next video: the launch trailer followed on October 15, 2026.
