GTA 6 has two playable leads: Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. Rockstar revealed six more characters alongside Trailer 2 in May 2025. Here’s everyone confirmed so far; each has a full page in our characters wiki.
The leads
Lucia Caminos
Lucia starts the story fresh out of Leonida Penitentiary. In Trailer 2, Jason picks her up from prison. She’s the first female lead in a mainline 3D GTA. Full profile: Lucia Caminos.
Jason Duval
Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army, he ended up in the Leonida Keys doing what he knows best: working for local drug runners. He wants an easy life, but things keep getting harder. Full profile: Jason Duval.
Supporting cast
| Character | Who they are |

| Boobie Ike | Vice City local legend with a club, real estate and a studio |
| Dre’Quan Priest | Aspiring music mogul tied to Boobie and Real Dimez |
| Real Dimez | Rap duo Bae-Luxe and Roxy, who turned robbing dealers into rap fame |
| Raul Bautista | Veteran bank robber |
| Brian Heder | Old-school Keys drug runner and Jason’s landlord |
FAQ
Can you switch between Lucia and Jason?
Rockstar hasn’t detailed it. GTA 5 let you switch between three leads, so switching is likely but unconfirmed.
Is Tommy Vercetti in GTA 6?
No sign of him. The pre-order bonus includes a weapon pattern inspired by his style, but that’s a nod, not a cameo.
