Cal Hampton is Jason Duval’s friend and a fellow associate of Brian Heder. Rockstar introduced him in May 2025, alongside Trailer 2, with a question that says it all: what if everything on the internet was true?
Who he is
- Cal feels safest at home, listening in on Coast Guard radio with a few beers and some private browser tabs open.
- Rockstar describes him as “at the low tide of America and happy there.”
- He’s casually paranoid, while his friend Jason has bigger plans.
- Like Jason, he’s tied to Brian Heder, the old-school Keys drug runner.
On Rockstar’s character page
His section carries a line that fits the conspiracy-theorist picture: “There are way too many birds flying around in perfect formation.” Another reads: “The psychopaths are in charge. Get used to it.”
What’s not known
Rockstar hasn’t said how big Cal’s role is, where exactly he lives, or whether he joins Jason and Lucia’s jobs. Expect more at launch on November 19, 2026. He was one of six supporting characters revealed with Trailer 2; see the full GTA 6 cast.
