Grassrivers is the wetland region of GTA 6’s State of Leonida. Under the heading “Welcome to the Wetlands,” Rockstar’s tagline calls it “the untamable jewel of Leonida’s crown,” a primordial expanse.

What Rockstar has shown

  • Gators are the most famous attraction, but Rockstar warns that “far deadlier predators and weirder discoveries” lurk among the mangroves.
  • Airboats gliding among alligators.
  • Three mud-covered people on an airboat with a dead alligator and a dead wildcat.
  • A police helicopter and patrol cars chasing a pickup through the swamp.
  • A speedboat heading toward buildings on piers, with the Vice City skyline in the distance.

Who lives here

Rockstar hasn’t tied any named character to Grassrivers yet.

Real-world inspiration

Rockstar names no real places; outlets describe Grassrivers as inspired by Florida’s Everglades. The official spelling is one word: Grassrivers, not “Grasslands” as some sites write it.

Not confirmed

Its size, any towns inside it and what you can do there beyond airboats are not announced. See the Leonida map overview and Vice City.
