How we got here
GTA 6 has moved twice since its first trailer:
- December 2023 — Trailer 1 reveals the game with a 2025 release window.
- May 2025 — Rockstar delays it to May 26, 2026.
- November 2025 — a second delay moves it to November 19, 2026, the current date.
Rockstar said both delays were to give the team the time needed to deliver the quality players expect.
Is a PC version coming?
Rockstar hasn’t announced one. Its last two big releases, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, reached PC well after their console launches, so expect the same pattern. Xbox has also said the game won’t be playable on PC through cloud gaming at launch.
